Today, public chargers are more accessible and convenient than ever. Located in popular spots such as shopping centres, supermarkets, and parks, they’ve become an integral part of our everyday mobility. And because our range of electrified powertrains is compatible with most of them, your movements are made more seamless, in more places.
The Kia Charge network supports over 800,000 charging points across Ireland and Europe, and it's still expanding. No matter where you go, access to a charging station is always within reach.
Kia Charge is designed to streamline your charging experience. Enjoy consolidated monthly billing across a vast network of chargers throughout Europe, eliminating the need to sign up to multiple providers.
Conveniently find compatible chargers near your location or destination on your smartphone via the Kia App.
Once you’ve connected your car to a charging station, use the Kia App to remotely start charging.
When you’re ready to get moving again, the invoice is automatically sent to your Kia Charge account.
Not all charging stations provide their own cable. But a simple Type 2 standard cable in your trunk is enough to let you access them all.
Most public chargers use alternating current, or AC, to charge at medium speeds. Perfect for when you need a boost of energy while shopping or at the gym.

¹ Calculation based on Kia EV6. Charging times depend on the specific models. The actual charging speed and charging time depend on battery temperature and weather conditions.
Electricity consumption (kWh/100 km) combined from 15.9 to 17.7, CO2-Emission (g/km) combined is 0. Electricity consumption combined: [15.9-17.7] kWh/100 km; CO2-emissions combined: [0] g/km; CO2-class: [5]. The specified consumption and emission values were determined according to the legally prescribed measurement procedures (EU) 2017/1153. The above values have been tested in the Worldwide harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP); however, may not reflect real-world driving conditions. Actual energy consumption during driving may vary.
