A network of fast chargers on major high-speed roads across Europe means long-distance travel in an EV is increasingly practical and seamless. Innovative fast charging technology can charge a battery from 10-80% in approximately 30 minutes, getting you back on the road again, faster.
The fast charging network of direct current, or DC, chargers throughout Europe is growing significantly. Since they are strategically placed near highways, it’s easy to find DC chargers in convenient locations for almost any road trip.
Fast chargers use direct current to deliver energy. A battery can charge from 10% to 80% in a short time, providing you with a significant amount of range.

¹ Calculation based on Kia EV6. Charging times depend on the specific models. The actual charging speed and charging time depend on battery temperature and weather conditions.
In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, EV6 must use an 800 volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 260 kW of electricity. The actual charging speed and charging time may be influenced by the battery temperature, status of the car, the used charging infrastructure and exterior weather conditions.
Electricity consumption (kWh/100 km) combined from 15.9 to 17.7, CO2-Emission (g/km) combined is 0. Electricity consumption combined: [15.9-17.7] kWh/100 km; CO2-emissions combined: [0] g/km; CO2-class: [5]. The specified consumption and emission values were determined according to the legally prescribed measurement procedures (EU) 2017/1153. The above values have been tested in the Worldwide harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP); however, may not reflect real-world driving conditions. Actual energy consumption during driving may vary.

The Advanced plan is ideal for high-mileage and long-distance drivers who want fixed, transparent pricing and often use fast chargers extensively. It provides peace of mind that you’ll pay a known rate per kWh regardless of which provider’s station you use.
For drivers who frequently use high-power DC charging (HPC) on motorways, Kia Charge offers add-on packages that significantly reduce the cost at IONITY chargers (350 kW ultra-fast stations). These packages are optional – you can subscribe on top of any main plan – and can be canceled monthly.
IONITY Power
grants a ~€0.20 per kWh discount on IONITY HPC charging stations at an additional monthly fee of €7.49
If you mostly charge at home, Kia Charge Easy gives you access to public charging stations without a monthly base fee. The Kia App shows you the current prices for each station so you can choose between the closest or most affordable.
If you use public chargers more frequently, the small monthly fee for a Kia Charge Advance subscription will pay itself off through cheaper, flat rates per kWh at all times and in all stations across the entire charging network.
