Towards a Sustainable Mobility Solutions Provider
Our mission is to contribute to the free and safe movement of people while advancing environmental and social priorities through our mobility and community initiatives.
Guided by this mission, Kia advances its contribution activities with a focus on addressing key social and environmental areas. Through collaborative initiatives and practical programmes, we support efforts aimed at ecosystem restoration and community development.

The Ocean Cleanup Partnership | Collection and Recycling of Marine Plastics
We contribute to addressing marine plastic pollution through our partnership with the global environmental NGO, The Ocean Cleanup. Kia supports the recycling of materials collected from the sea through this partnership, helping to reduce the risk of marine plastic pollution.

We engage in ecological restoration activities, including planting halophytes in selected wetlands, and support research and collaborative efforts related to tidal flat restoration.

Mobility Without Barriers | Support of Mobility Rights for People with Disabilities
Mobility Without Barriers is Kia’s social contribution project designed to provide safe and convenient travel experiences for people with disabilities. It currently operates in Korea, offering modified vehicles including Carnival, PV5 Passenger and WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) models. Mobility Without Barriers provides services that support access for both electric and manual wheelchairs, and also services that allow users to drive themselves with driving functions adjusted to accommodate different disability levels. In addition, Mobility Without Barriers runs a radio campaign to help prevent discrimination against people with disabilities and raise public awareness.
